OUR (tentative) ITINERARY

DAY 1: 5/9

Welcome to France!

Our hosts will pick you up from the Tousouls airport and whisk you to the charming Bed and Breakfast Auberge Lion D'Or for check-in. (The hotel is open exclusively to our group, we will be the only guests on the property.)

Welcome drinks will be served at the hotel in the evening, followed by dinner in the Village.

DAY 3: 5/11

Our first day trip will be to the neighboring city of Albi for sightseeing!

We plan to spend the day snapping reference photos of the gorgeous city on the river. We will be visiting the Musee Toulouse Lautrec, which overlooks picturesque gardens, and having lunch together before heading back to our village for an evening of leisure time.

(Dinner on own this evening)

DAY 2: 5/10

Following morning coffee and pastries, we will have our first painting lesson in Saint Antonin Noble Val. In true French fashion, lunch will be held at a local cafe.

In the afternoon we will visit L’abbé de Beaulieu, a medieval abbey, and paint in plein air on the museum grounds.

Dinner will be held at Le Tourone, a stunning outdoor kitchen where we will be served by our private chef, Charolette.

DAY 6: 5/14

We will spend the morning painting in the village of Cordes sur Ciel.

Lunch will be held at the stunning gardens, Jardin de Paradis.

We will head back to St Antonin for dinner prepared by our private chef, Charlotte.

DAY 4: 5/12

We will spend our morning like locals, shopping the Farmers Market for our cooking class in the evening.

Lunch will be held at Le Touron, our host’s private estate, followed by garden still life painting.

Our Market purchases will be put to good use for a cooking demonstration and dinner that evening.

DAY 5: 5/13

After coffee and pastries off we will go on a day trip Caussade for flea market exploration! We will be back in our village for lunch and spend the afternoon painting in Penne.

We have a casual, but delicious, pizza dinner at Halle booked! (own cost)

DAY 7: 5/15

Our final day will be spent visiting Cahors market, painting in the secret gardens and shopping in the village. We will meet at Brocantes for lunch.

The final afternoon can be spent finishing your artwork with your instructors or enjoying some leisure time.
